## Writing

## Projects

- [bendoom](https://doom.elies.site) (software): The first level of Doom, rewritten in Bend 2 and compiled to WASM so it runs in the browser.
- [Farnsworth fusor](https://fusor.elies.site) (hardware): A demonstration fusion device I co-built in high school, for which I designed the 2,000-volt power circuit.
- [Celda](https://celda.elies.site) (software): A map of the mobile network antennas in Spain, with coverage simulations.
- [pragma-dsp](https://github.com/eliesgalvira/pragma-dsp) (software): A signal-processing library for TypeScript.
- [Signal Transformer](https://sigtransform.elies.site) (software): A web tool that shows the frequency content of a signal, built on pragma-dsp.
- [HP-35](https://hp-35.elies.site) (software): A web simulator of the first scientific pocket calculator.
- [Print server](https://github.com/eliesgalvira/ipp-print-orchestrator) (hardware): A Raspberry Pi that puts a USB-only printer on the network, with a printing protocol written from scratch.

## Events

- [CERN Challenge Based Innovation, Fusion Point](https://github.com/eliesgalvira/CBI-CarSalut-app) (programme, 2025): A CERN IdeaSquare programme where student teams work on a challenge set by a company. For SEAT, my team built a digital health card for used cars, stored on an ESP32 Bluetooth tag in the car and read from a phone app.
- [A week at CERN IdeaSquare](https://github.com/eliesgalvira/CERN-CBI-hackathon) (stay, Oct 2025): IdeaSquare is CERN's innovation space. During a week there with the other CBI students, my team built a machine in a one-day make-a-thon that sorts falling marbles into metal, glass and plastic by the force of their impact.
- [LauzHack 2024, EPFL](https://github.com/SolomonTracker) (hackathon, Nov 2024): A 24-hour student hackathon at EPFL. For BOBST's challenge, my team built SolomonTracker, which tracks items with secure, unique codes based on coding theory.
- [UAB THE HACK!](https://github.com/Barretina-Negra/UAB-WiFi-Dataset-Analysis) (hackathon, Nov 2025): A 24-hour hackathon at the Autonomous University of Barcelona. With the campus's Wi-Fi data, my team built a platform that diagnoses congestion and proposes where to place new access points.
- [FME-UPC Datathon](https://devpost.com/software/distillers) (datathon, Nov 2025): A datathon at UPC's School of Mathematics and Statistics. For Smadex, my team built a model that predicts an ad impression's in-app revenue over the next seven days, and started a smaller version of it for production.
